Ready
We don't know what tomorrow brings, but we are ready.

There are no flames
in the distance.
.
The apocolyptic fires
of the lost self are gone.
.
I am grounded,
in the present.
.
My allies are strong,
and stand steady.
.
My fear is minimal,
and in check.
.
My vision is clear,
I see for miles.
.
my heart is full,
robust, and gives.
.
I am unmoved,
and ready.
.
my perception
is born, of hidden secrets.
.
I don't know
what monsters hide
behind the corners
of small things,
.
But I lean towards
the days.
.
of the future self.
