I like words.
My mind is filled with them
No pictures,
No numbers,
Only words.
They often tumble from my lips,
A steady stream of consciousness.
Some days it becomes a torrent
A rush of thoughts all trying to escape a stifling room.
Other days the words curl up in the darkest corners of my mind,
Lying in wait.
I scream and the words rain down like a ticker tape parade
Each glittering piece of confetti a new thought sent sky high…
If I had to count my words
I would never reach the end,
An endless rivulet,
Trickling…
I like words.
