The hissing sound

As it slithers around in the open space

As it hides deep in the meadows

With its slimy body

As it gets ready to go after

its prey

The head tilts up

The fangs start to draw near

The poor little creature it never had a chance

As for now it’s trapped inside

This reptiles body

as it is the size of a softball going down the slithering body

While the rattle gets louder

It’s telling us to stay far away

To let us know it’s near

Or we will be its next prey

As its body lays deep in the meadows

Waiting for its next prey
