rare feelings

between the lines

when all solutions in the world have failed

I still have you at my fingertips

I’m scared to touch you as you might not like it

my attitude, my voice, my sadness

though I’ve felt you so many times

your attachment, detachment, and all these ways

between the lines

when all the moods are swaying among our chairs

one side of me sits alone

while the other steals furtive glances, amazed;

what did you do to me? I keep asking

not knowing where to start;

if I told you all this

I think it could be a story to fill out

many lives

and you wouldn’t believe me anyway

that everything you ever say

every moment of our short life

soothes my soul, just like that;

I think I fell in love with your voice

and as usual without finding an answer

I’m drowning in so many conflicting feelings

still unable to stay or leave, just constantly swaying

between the lines
