Random thoughts

I like being in college. Its all just young people trying to figure out what they're doing with their lives. Or getting piss drunk and throwing up on the stairs in the dorm. Either way, its all part of that young adult growth phase.

It's fall in the Adirondacks, and the leaves are changing. I'm not used to seeing autumn so soon, with the vibrant yellow hues peeking out everywhere I look. They remind me that things change faster than I think.

My roommate is watching tiktok out loud on her phone. I've never understood how it's socially acceptable to watch tiktok out loud, but not anything else. Not that it bothers me, just curious...

I'm working as a waitress now. I guess I'm finally fufiling my stereotype of a twenty-somthing year old. Waitressing while being in pre-med, and tutoring on the side. I like being a waitress, serving people. No idea what that says about me, but it's good experiance.

Our living room is sort of boring. We have a flag with Gibby from ICarly and another one from a country band I don't know. I think we should spruce it up a bit. Maybe a lamp, some photos, hell lets go crazy and get an area rug. Maybe it'll stop looking so...college.

I got tipsy for the first time in a while last night. I don't remember the last time I felt safe enough to drink around other people. It was nice. Turns out vodka makes me chatty. I don't know if i'll drink again.

Well, I have shit to do and I can't keep procrastinating by writing. Time to fold laundry. Who the hell am I kidding, I'm probably gonna get distracted by something until it's time for my shift at the restaurant.
