Ramping

on the interstate

By Harper Lewis Published 10 days ago 1 min read

Logjam lanes of lights,

the crimson tide of I-85, hill towns

and mill towns, five-dollar bill towns

reduced to exit ramps and numbers,

gas and lodging.

See Rock City and go

South of the Border,

the whole goddamn world

pretending to be

another roadside attraction.
