Aliens where could they be
Are they all around us
Or will we never see
Where oh where that they could be
~
What would they look like
Purple with tentacles
Maybe us but with an extra eye
Or perhaps little green men were the answer all along
~
What will their languages be
Will we ever hope to translate
If not then I fear
For any encounter that we have
~
What do they fly in
How fast can it go
Do they live in the Milky Way
Or perhaps somewhere we'll never go
~
I think I would like to meet them
Even if just to see them
But I hope it's not War of the Worlds all over again
