Grasping, groping, grabbing

Clinging, clasping, holding

An idea in mind

I can't let it go

~

Even when it burns

I just grip tighter

Slips through my fingers

Drives me mad

~

Mind tossing and turning

Unable to sleep

Till words on the paper

Reflect the thought in my mind

~

Thoughts coming, thoughts going

Trains in the night

Lost the second

Something shiny comes to sight

~

It's why I try to hold

Every thought that comes to mind

Notepads filled with thoughts

Dozens of abandoned ideas

~

Grasping, clinging

Groping, clasping

Grabbing, holding

All things that drift to mind

Till the paper reflects the inside

Ramblings pulled from thoughts drifting through my head. I hope you enjoyed them for what they are. If you did please like, subscribe, and feel free to leave a tip. Till next time.
