Rainbow son

A tale to live with

Where are you o son? The morning you left with a smile, left us stranded unto noon, And now the moon cries, while our mood bleeds, It was first a joke, the job won't coke, Yet your sweat was welcomed...Leaving burdens behind and hope in view. Where are you, o son? Under the knee of the law shirt, Your breath is taken, Eight minutes long, Daylight horror, Mama you called for, I can't breathe you cried out, until you become lifeless and the streets knew your name. The silent war protest, Black and men scamper, Colored Bullets, and a trigger, Quick to pull, color is a crime. O rainbow, where is your son? Black and colored, lay beneath six our feet. All colors are rainbow, beauty admired. Yet your son cries. Justice and love o rainbow sigh...
