Rain,
Rain, oh gentle droplets from the sky

Rain, oh gentle droplets from the sky
Falling softly, with a lullaby
You wash away the dust and heat
Bringing life to the parched land, so sweet
You tap on rooftops and pitter-patter on leaves
Creating a symphony that no one can conceive
You nourish the earth and fill the streams
Bringing new growth and vibrant beams
Rain, oh gentle droplets from the sky
You are the source of all life, you cannot die
You bring new hope, after a dry spell
You make the flowers bloom, and the rivers well
You are the tears of the earth, cleansing and pure
You are the gift of nature, forever to endure
You come and go, with the changing seasons
But always bring new life, with your gentle reasons.
