RAIN

Falling from the sky

By Melania J.L.Published 3 years ago • 1 min read

Rain, oh gentle rain,

Falling from the sky,

Washing away our pain,

Bringing tears to our eye.

With every drop that falls,

Nature comes alive,

The birds sing their calls,

As the flowers thrive.

The pitter-patter sound,

A soothing lullaby,

As it gently hits the ground,

Washing away all our sighs.

It dances on the rooftops,

And glistens in the sun,

A symphony that never stops,

Until the day is done.

The earth drinks it in,

Quenching its thirst,

A cycle that begins,

With every drop dispersed.

The smell of petrichor,

Fills the air,

A fragrance to adore,

A scent so rare.

It brings a sense of calm,

And a peaceful vibe,

A moment to be present,

And just simply thrive.

So let the rain pour,

And wash away our fears,

For it is nature's cure,

And a reminder of what's dear.

For in the rain, we see,

The beauty of life,

A reminder to let things be,

And release all our strife.

So let us dance in the rain,

And embrace its grace,

For in its presence, we gain,

A sense of inner peace and space.

Rain, oh gentle rain,

A gift from above,

A reminder to remain,

Grateful for the love.

Thank you for reading!
