Rain Down on Us

verse 2

By Forest GreenPublished 2 months ago • 1 min read

lightning in the distance, power in the veins

every raindrop carryin' somebody's pain

we wash it off quick, let the past go down the drain

new chapter written in the puddles, can't complain

drip too heavy, even the clouds respect the flow

we speak and the heavens open up, watch 'em blow

from the corner to the castle, same crew, same code

rain or shine we eatin', watch the story unfold

so when the first drop hits, throw ya hands to the sky

let the whole world know we too blessed to die

from the mud to the marble, we still gon' rise

rain down forever, let the blessings multiply
