Rain Down on Us

verse 1

By Forest GreenPublished 2 months ago • 1 min read

skies crack open, blessings in the thunder

every drop a diamond, every puddle a come up

we been duckin' shade, now we dancin' in the water

dirty sneakers squishin', but the fit still proper

hustle in the drizzle, vision through the storm

paper gettin' soggy but the dream stay warm

opps can't see us, fog cover the scene

we ghosts in the mist, still chasin' the green

umbrella for the weak, we let the rain hit skin

every splash a lesson, every flood a win

city lights reflectin' off the wet concrete

we glow in the downpour, can't nobody compete
