I wash the red possession against the moon-rain that scattered

Scared off the wind that trapped itself in my mind

My mind is the wind so scared

So scattered,

I was the Red Possession

I let it wash my head cold

That you implanted inside like a scapegoat, your seed raped

My favorite song

Until it became unreal in my mouth

The mouthfeel was a moon-rain that gargled a salty pinch

The salty punch against my face

The taste that comes from

Rage that sits there on a plate too long

Waiting for a bite

But instead it congeals, coagulates

The red Possession had always engulfed my heart

Tears that no one held like a long lost child

First the fury that entangled with such love

Love that was anything other than love

When you speak it’s if it’s asking why was I born to

Born to

The fury I felt was deeply rooted within me like a goddess that was stripped old her soul

The fury I had was as if all the things that terrified us throughout the last century were still etched inside of each of us

The hatred that seeped in as the tears disappeared into the moon tide

The fury that made us feel the finest tremble in the earth

The dirt permanently attached to our skin

You possessed me, the rape as cruel as the sun drowning the earth

We are the red possession

We are the poison, we are the cure

We are the enemy, we are the answer

The angel with the divine hand

The demon who tempts man

The goddess being starved

The gods becoming full of evil

I long to drink in my fury like death’s breath

I long to vomit this love like a bad parasite

The wind traps the sun

I eat the dying star

Like the ripest flesh of tropical material

Then die.
