In the radiance of the night,
Black skin beams with wondrous light,
A beauty hidden for far too long,
But now it's time to sing its song.
With pride, we wear this shining cloak,
A symbol of strength, a mighty oak,
For too long we've been told to hide,
But now it's time to stand with pride.
Our skin, rich and deep as the earth,
Resplendent, a treasure of immeasurable worth,
A heritage that runs so deep,
A history that we'll always keep.
So let your radiance shine so bright,
A beacon of hope, a guiding light,
For black is beautiful, don't you see,
A gift that's been given to you and me.
Let the rhythm of your soul beat,
As you walk with grace down the street,
Embrace the power of your melanin,
A crown of glory, a divine origin.
In the radiance of the night,
Black skin glows with celestial light,
A symphony of hues, a stunning sight,
A masterpiece, a work of art, a glorious height.
So wear your skin with pride and joy,
Let your radiance shine, never coy,
For black is beautiful, a fact so true,
A blessing, a heritage, forever anew.
