Racing thoughts

By Bethany RochePublished 7 days ago 1 min read

Rotten, ripping, rolling rumble

Waves rolling in my ears, crashing, stumbling

Blood like dripping from my eyes

Nostrils

Gums, seeping

drop drop

drop

drop

like a dog has bitten through the flesh of my calf

water is poison

there is acid on my tongue

chronic intrusion. exhaustion

eyes cannot be heavy when the mind races

falling asleep to sirens

waking up to 140

and white spots under my eyelids

sobbing, sobbing, sobbing.

pupils narrow corner to corner

sore, dry, sticky, wet

i am sick

today i am sick

tomorrow i will be sicker

i want to live if i can kill this anxious me.
