Queen Elizabeth

mother

family

always there

when in need

always helping

was strong

powerful

lovely

caring

sweet

we didn't

deserve her

none of us

did

age 25

then 96

then

dead

it hit

no one believed

no one wanted

to believe

that she was gone

we had to say goodbye

we had to mourn

we had to move on

we had to do it

without her

we had to

she was our queen

our mother

our protector

our provider

our friend

our confidante

our hope

our

everything

and she is gone

but

she is not

forever

in our hearts

forever

our queen

forever

our mother

forever

our friend

her smile

and waving hand

always

hope

always

care

things were tough

but she

went on

a symbol of strength

we needed

and will continue

to need

she is

not here

but

she is

she is gone

but never gone

we love you

Queen Elizabeth

may you

rest in peace
