by Danish Siddiqui "India's COVID trauma"

Dedicated to my grandmother who passed during the 2020 COVID Pandemic in India - during my absence.

~

Gentle breeze blowing,

rustling leaves whisper secrets.

In your fleeting voice.

~

Rushing water flows

eroding rock, carving paths.

Tears of constant change.

~

Dancing flames ignite

heat and light, dying and life.

Two sides of same coin.

~

Green fields in the Sun

nature's canvas, a new dawn.

Acceptance takes root.
