my emotions

you control them

my desires

you contain

my inhibitions

you have found a way of making me insane

pieced together

like a puzzle

on a leash made just for me

use your words, just like a muzzle

only mine, can set me free

beaten

like the batter

on the cake you then destroyed

play with me like a viper

or a child's broken toy

how much longer

- you will tell me

till I am able to explain

have me begging for a fix

like you're the needle in my vein

cold sober

now, I find me

all alone

left on the street

where peace and anguish fit together

making my puzzle piece complete

surreal poetry
