Putting a Tattoo, Heaven

Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished 2 years ago • Updated 2 years ago • 1 min read
Like tattoos? Even the fake ones? Enjoy this poem.

I sense the common

Before they judge...

A here.

Ink and a vibe

Near creeps

Carrying thoughts about thoughts

Of tears, love, kisses, and

Subjects so deep.

Why go so far?

Would heaven choose this

To find who I are?

Haven't moved,

Permanent as a paint can.

Cells sits, left after sales...

Not used.

Rode to the next game,

Still there.

A bandage from the beginning,

It looked like pleasure,

It looks like pain.

Frowns...

From mother and father.

All that hard work

Up in flames.

Now unrecognizable,

Says, "I'm still the same."
