Everyone has dreams,
Something that makes living tolerable.
Not every dream is grandiose,
For many just scrape by.
Some value money and cars,
Others love and acceptance.
All around the world,
People have dreams,
Yet not all dreams become reality.
Poverty never stole the ability to dream,
Or even to achieve it,
While it may have delayed the pursuit,
It made achieving the dream more valuable.
Pursuing dreams amidst adversity,
Makes outcomes better.
The happiest man is one who dreams,
To make the world better,
To bring about change and love others.
It is the heart that really matters in the end.
If we have basic necessities our dreams stay alive,
For we all have the same value and surrender
Our souls the same way.
