When my thoughts think of purple clouds

I hear screams shouting all aloud

I see animals and plants crying out in pain

All caused by the acid rain

By Lucy Chian on Unsplash

The purple clouds

Are not of candy

The purple clouds

Are not so handy

The purple clouds

Extend out pain

When drops that splash

Dissolve membranes

By Scott Webb on Unsplash

The winds that breathe, that shook them forth

Moved the clouds from their place of birth

To oceans and forests, for all their worth

Even cities cried out, from the size of their girth

By Clay LeConey on Unsplash

The rains let loose, let a child's full bladder

"Shut off the pipes!" Quickly go grab a ladder.

The poison they rain's toxic like the venom from an adder.

The destruction they cause makes me all the more sadder.

Toxic rain

Acid Rain

Rancid Pain

To sewer's it drains

Dilution

Dilution

Is not just the answer

Is this World's Cancer

Of purple clouds

They should return to dreams

Where they can harm no one

Elicit no screams
