This poem has been written as part of Medium’s new poetry challenge. Thank you, Patricia Timmermans (Medium Friend) for the invite.

Today’s prompt is: ABRACADABRA, “I create as I speak.”

Patricia’s invite is to write a Twittle poem.

A Twittle poem is a micro poem, consisting of four lines and exactly 100 alphabet letters, with an element of rhyme.

Pure Magic

Reliving the best times

The spell has now been cast,

I travel backwards at last,

Into my precious memories as asked,

Abracadabra, I can relive my past.

About the Creator

Colleen Millsteed

My first love is poetry — it’s like a desperate need to write, to free up space in my mind, to escape the constant noise in my head. Most of the time the poems write themselves — I’m just the conduit holding the metaphorical pen.

Whoaaa, you rocked this Twittle poem! You had Abracadabra, 100 letters, 4 lines and they all rhyme. Such a difficult challenge and you made it seem so easy. Job well done my friend!
