They keep saying that the more money you have, the more problems you see,

I keep hearing more money more problems, I really think I could be worse without it,

as I look up from the cement, I know I'll be better with it,

the lies the powers that be tell us, making us live in fear,

doubting what's real, creating lies so surreal,

the one's the elders used to call half-truths, spread through the news,

making the 99% believe they can't achieve, suffocating their dreams,

giving information that works around the actual plot, leaving people hungry & homeless,

only to live the way they say doesn't exist,

the pulp like the truth, with too much it could have you choke to death,

but mixing it with fiction, so it taste like a smoothie going down on the hottest summer day,
