PUBLIC NOTICE: TEMPORARY MEASURES IN EFFECT

Issued in Response to Repeated Incidents of Hope

We are sharing this important update with you.

Please take a moment to read this.

If these guidelines aren’t followed, things might not go as planned.

From now on,

we encourage everyone to look after their feelings.

Sharing how you really feel

is best when you feel safe

and in places where you feel comfortable,

if you have those options.

Because many have faced disappointment lately,

trust may take a little more time to build.

Promises are best made clearly

and understood as something that might change.

Sometimes, spoken reassurances may not last.

We want to remind everyone

that getting attached does not always mean things will work out.

Feelings can sometimes be slow to arrive, get mixed up,

or even get lost along the way.

We cannot promise

that every hope will be met or every message answered,

or that there will never be silence after hoping.

Please remember:

Nostalgia can sometimes be tricky.

Staying in the past can make things confusing,

change how we remember things,

and make us believe things were safer

than they really were.

Proceed with caution. If you start to feel overwhelmed, or feel overloaded,

take a break.

Breathe deeply.

Consult your inner protocols.

If these feelings don’t go away,

look for comfort wherever you can find it, like in

music, prayer, your daily routine,

or simply knowing you made it through another day.

This notice remains in effect

until things change,

or until courage outweighs fear,

whichever happens first.

Thank you for your cooperation.

We wish this message wasn’t needed.
