“My only goal right now
is to be genuinely happy.”
I would hope
that this is everybody’s goal —
“to be genuinely happy.”
We get so caught up in our very busy lives,
that we sometimes forget the number one priority,
to be happy!
To be happy
is a longing that we all have,
whoever we are
and
wherever we live.
Aristotle believed
that happiness is connected to
fulfilling our potential,
giving us a purpose in life.
However,
we must remember
that happiness
can mean different ‘ideals’
to different people,
and we need to accept and respect this.
The basics of being happy
are the same
for everyone though.
A smile.
A laugh.
A hug.
These are ‘normal everyday things’
that do bring happiness into our lives.
Being happy
promotes
mental health.
