Prologue
to whatever comes next
first story of the year... what will it be?
writing stories, hoping to make a change
to share my passion, to motivate
praying to succeed
so this dream doesn't end
I cannot afford to fail
I don't have a choice
I've got to create
they say 'do it for the story'
the drama and the pain
the love will come one day
or maybe it won't
I almost forgot how it felt
the way you loved me
the way you cared
the way you wanted and needed
you missed the moment I left
first story of the year... what will it be?
hopes and dreams
adventures and friends
love and disdain
take me far away
even when I promised to stay
I don't think I want to pretend
to be reasonable or to care
I think... it's time to embrace
the insanity that brought me here
