It should be the choice for the life of the one bearing the growth.

There is only your life
To consider in abortion.
The idea is a knife.
It slices with mass distortion.
It is moral that you stop
Your pregnancy before you give birth.
The emotional toll may cause you to drop
To your knees and cry on the earth.
You are the master over your own body.
There is no room for any discussion.
The complaints hurled at you are shoddy.
Their words are but fading percussion.
You possess the right over your own mind.
All that is within you is a choice to be
Pro-life in considering the power you find.
Until everyone will know and see.

Why would a woman (we have yet find what it is exactly) would cry and fall to her knees after that choice. Isn't it only a clump of cells, no different than cancer? Or is it something more? A life perhaps? It is killing, not only killing but murder, even first degree murder since you plan the killing and pay someone to do it. Don't ever call it pro-life, even pro-choice is a huge euphemism. How many time a woman have the choice to not becoming pregnant. 1) choosing not to sleep with a man, particularly when she is fertile (there are tests to know when she is), 2) contraceptive methods and 3), one off the most old and efficient, waiting after marriage. It is more empowering to wait and say no then to sleep with anyone that ask for it, and that is for both sexes. Why is it that we recommend abortion over helping mothers with all the difficulty that comes with motherhood (like postpartum depression)? Why is it that companies decide to pay for abortion, but not maternity (even less paternity) leaves? How do you know if she is not force to have an abortion? because that happens. You use a lot of euphemism, beautiful one, and because of that your poem is disgusting for me at least. Well, because I know our modern cultural climate, you will probably be on the finalist list. So what you care what I say since: You are the master over your own body. There is no room for any discussion. The complaints you are shoddy. Their words are but fading percussion.
