She's like the goddess of a renaissance painting

Sitting still and pretty

The face of a pale moon

Features as soft as a primrose

She moves gracefully

As graceful as a swan

She screams tunes as mighty as the sea

And yet she smiles

And i just sit and admire

But I will never be the man painting her

I will never get to kiss the surface of her pale moon face

And when i reach for her soft primrose features,

The flower plucks me in return

She moves so gracefully on the stage

And yet i watch through the windowsill

She is the sea who roars a mighty song

And i am the boat who sinks in despair

And when she smiles

I just sit and admire

Because i know nobody will forever love her

More than I love my Primrose Maria
