Pride of Dance

I am colour flying

Swish, I’m dancing

Kilt is swinging

I am colour flying

Exhilarating heights of crimson red

With pride I hold my head

Swoosh, the sounds of tartan

Colours spring to life

Magenta brushes turquoise

Highland dancing girls of Fife

Whirl, a slight landing

Black shoes rise on my toes

Silver swords summon dancing

My crimson vest glows

Stronger, higher, points

White diamonds in my socks

I’m a soaring cobalt tartan

As my arms both flow and lock

Mighty clans of colour

Azure, scarlet, teal

Dancing sisters from our mothers

Our coloured hearts are real

Swish, I’m dancing yellow

Piper’s piping gold

I’m dancing with a fellow

My heart and smile are bold
