A poem

Be free

Be true

Like clear sky blue

Never clouded

By the judgement

Of the tangled pink

Required to think

Of ruptured ideas

Set in stonewall

Now when the signs

Point red

In a rush to Mellow

The yellow of a

Universal hello

And a misunderstood

Greeting

We stand

Wishing

Turning

Running

Through the grass

Sharp blades of

Green-eyes

Who move the swish

Of air in colorless

Demise

And still

We rise

Orange flames

Birth the Phoenix

In a phonetic

Cry

To Soar

High.

If

We are pride,

Then shall it be

we are full

Of strides

Across state lines

Holding a pen on

An incline

To the paper

Strong enough

To allow us to lead

But

Digression

Progression

Only a matter

Of movement

Can distract me

From Constructing a twirl

That allows time

To absorb

The pigments

The dyes

The stains

Of our colors.
