Prevail

Overcoming fear

By Irvin Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

Mental agony, I've grasped on the survivors spirit-like prosperity Immune to defeat, mountains rattle for my greater purpose of destiny Being a slave to intellectual knowledge But also being king for the insisted outcomes Less of a tyrant to cripple my humble beginning Meditating prayer, manifesting for accolades that'll sooner be an armor An armor used to encounter hardships put upon the empty road I walk The more I walk the wiser the vision becomes I will prevail because I'm not just a student I'm a leader in the making in his Image The only image I can't discredit nor dishonor Living to see another day only to be better than yesterday I will prevail I will prevail.
