Pretty Ugly

I'm proud of being ugly

So don't tell me that

Being beautiful is everything

But almost always, if not always

There are other important characteristics

You have to consider that

Ugly people are just like you.

They can achieve whatever they want

Don't you think that ?

No copyright infringement meant, I hope so. I'm aware that it's a famous poem.I haven't read it in a while so I hopefully haven't copied any lines.

As some of you know, I positively identified with my ugliness as a child, until I stopped being ugly and lost my identity. Others however didn't appreciate my ugliness and the strengths it brings until they saw a hit TV show called Ugly Betty, from over in the USA. The titular character is my childhood role model/hero.

When read bottom up it gets more dismissive of ugliness.
