there is a place where quiet lives

where peace, and love; those envied rarities

reside in great abundance

they stay hidden from the world

tucked away in arms of seeming obscurity

that state of being unknown, inconspicuous,

unimportant even.

but what harm can a sprinkle of peace really do

except to spread peaceful cheer, like Santa would

happiness, harmony, healing, helpful, humble

heart-warming, honorable and halcyon
