Precious
Life is so very precious
I don’t think you realise
How precious life can be,
It takes some sort of accident
To really make you see.

It’s amazing how many people
Share the same feeling,
“It won’t come my way”,
Whatever life is dealing.

Correct me if I’m wrong
But I don’t think I am,
You are as much at risk
As any other man.
***
Don’t think you are any different
It’s what a lot of people say,
There was even a time
When I used to think this way.
***
But now that’s all changed
I learnt what life’s about,
Life is very precious
Of that I’ve now no doubt.
