Preacher
A Notice
I never wanted to be a preacher
of anything
not even science
especially that science cannot be preached
but only understood as ever-changing
as more data come in
Yet many people
including poets and other writers
see themselves as preachers
forgetting that we don’t preach anything
only propose
suggest
illustrate with words
present other points of view
even facts when the Moon is full
or the Sun not too hot
We don’t use command words
we never could
nothing is so sure
I could propose that dark energy
is love
that dark matter
is made of love clusters
and these would be
perhaps
poetic
nothing more
That light permeates
almost everything
may have been proposed
long ago by enlightened bards
but it is science that proved it
that showed its real beauty
around the Cosmos
adding pictures to some of the words
Papa don’t preach
and so every poet/writer
Even Preachers cannot preach
and they surely know why
and if they don’t
then they may be dangerous

LOVE the finishing touch: "Even Preachers cannot preach and they surely know why and if they don’t then they may be dangerous" Indeed!
You can teach, but are they willing to learn?
