Pray, doth any soul attend to mine lament?
A Cry Unheard
In a world so fast, we're swept away,
No time for tears, no love's display,
When I cry out, no one is near,
But I realized, we all live in fear.
Each heart battles its private strife,
Lost souls in the tumult of life,
Though cries unheard and pleas unseen,
Together we dwell in this cruel scene.
Empathy's touch, let's not forsake,
In this realm of pain, let love awake,
Hand in hand, we'll find our way,
Unified, we'll brave each day.
Fragile beings, we endure the fight,
In this undeserving world of plight,
Yet, together we'll rise, hearts unfurled,
In unity, we'll conquer the world.

Such loneliness within this poem, Life can seem like a vast ocean sometimes. We have to take the time to build relationships a little at a time though. A well written story.
