Pour

When words come from a pen

By Lady PsyrenPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

Sitting in a room, full, causes anxiety

Words, can never escape

It ends up like makeup

Putting on a face to make it easy

But,

When everything is quiet

When thoughts are being heard

When talking becomes more than a front

Only then, when the pen hits the paper…

Does it make sense

Only then, can words pour like a fountain that’s been stopped up

Only then, can you hear who’s heart beats more

Only then, can words pour

Front and center, causes anxiety

Fright or flight are its responses

Blood is drawn from head to toe

Shivers down the spine,

And into the legs they turn into puddles

Yet power is filled in place of the butterflies

And once more, words pour

Only then, can power be sensed in the words spoken

Only then, do the words pour from the paper and into the souls

Only then, can you feel who’s heart beats more

Only then, can words pour
