I had a dream, so big and bold,

To reach the peak, to be so old,

I had potential, I had the skill,

I had the drive, the fearless will.

The world was mine, or so I thought,

But alas, success I have not wrought,

I worked so hard, round the clock,

But in the end, I hit a block.

I tried and tried, with all my might,

But success was not within my sight,

No matter how hard I stretched and strained,

My progress stalled, my dream remained.

It wasn't easy, but I learned a lot,

From every failure, growth I got,

I may have lost, but I gained insight,

And the wisdom to pursue things right.

I now believe, the future's bright,

With hard work, success's in my sight,

I won't give up, I'll push ahead,

And reach my goals, 'till I'm well fed.
