There is a soft dark tune that plays-

In the shadowy corners of my soul

I always keep my silence.

But it’s time to face the music-

Sometimes I think about killing myself.

But I never talk about it-

As if not talking about it

Will make it go away.

As if not talking about it-

Makes it all ok.

It’s locked in a music box-

That’s in a chest with chains

Sitting on the bottom of the ocean.

But that chest is full of poison-

In the ocean of my heart.

And I have to break the chains

And bust that secret out.

Hiding isn’t helping and-

It’s time to set it free

Sometimes I think about killing myself.

There I said it-

Now it’s out for all to see.
