I’m struggling, wrangling like a worm on a hook

I bet if I was someone else you’d take a second look.

I get possessed by these demons,

Can’t contemplate any meaning.

Riled up, knarling, it’s extreme and

Like I’m some kinda heathen.

I’m objectifying, identifying, on aspects of this life

Thinking, partaking about, in my hurt, fear, and strife.

The demons need to be leaving

Missed chances all up in these meetings

Scripture painstakingly reading.

Til I get to the reason

Set out into this mission

Sooner or later, we’ll be wishing.

All these blessings I’m missing

Eyes get wet, feel that misting

See I’m possessed by these demons

Continuing on for that reason

So what the hell’s it all mean then?

Losing control of all feeling

These demons straight up killing

Held down, oppressed yet defeating

Can’t comprehend any meaning

Rise above, evil we be leaving

Now it’s in full effect

My muscles getting wrecked!

Convulsing amidst all the chaos

In the end, what’s the pay off?

All this unneeded suffering

Scary, fearful mishappenings

Awful, bitterness is all-consuming

Resurrect from these demons

Save your neck and keep screaming

In God’s name is what’s seeming

To lock down and take all these demons
