“I fell in love

with your words. Not you.”

When I die, don’t wear black, wear gold

Like the sunflowers that are secretly people

Wear bright colors because wearing black won’t bring me back to you

After I died

Because I couldn’t have you

Even have you the way you’d want it

Without the pain of a sorrowful heart that begged for a chance to be more than just pretty words

Even to die was a blessing

It’s the full experience the full story the full event

Don’t wear black

Wear gold

Drape the room in sunflowers

Black won’t bring me back

There’s a portal in my heart and I threw it up on everything I have made

My body laying like a fallen sunflower, such a shame like a dungeon lock that seals with a clink

I guess you meant what you meant

“Not you.”
