The murder Martin Bryant

Was not reliant,

Subnormal IQ, intellectual disability

28 years old,

Had a heart that was cold.

Lived in New Town

Near Hobart, this little

Place, he tore apart.

With a history of erratic behaviour

He was no one’s saviour.

Carjacking, mass murder,

Mass shootings, arson

And shooting spree,

Happened in this area

Where people had to flee.

Working for a lottery heiress

Becoming close friends,

Fate stepped in

And bought her to her end.

In a 1992 car crash, he grabbed

Her wheel, which he denies,

I believe it is all lies.

He inherits her estate,

And he thought

This was his fate.

1993 his father committed suicide,

From that moment on,

Martin became intensified.

Started to travel and stockpile guns,

Had a big collection

Maybe weighed tonnes.

28th April 1996

Was the day that he picked.

Drove to Seascape cottage

killed the man and lady,

this act is so shady.

He woke up with malice

And intent

In his mind,

That was consent.

He then drove to a café

Ate a meal

Then put on a display,

Of shooting,

His shooting was array

This was not going to

Be a good day.

In 2 minutes, 20 people died

The one who survived

Could do nothing but cry.

Continuing his spree

In a car, as he tried to flee

Got to a toll booth

Stole another car

Killed the people

This man is bloody

Lethal.

Shot a woman, held her hostage

at a petrol station

Is what I read as clarification.

Went back to the cottage

Put it on fire,

Police found 3 more bodies

The count got higher

35 people killed

23 wounded,

Sadness and terror

They will carry forever

35 life terms, he was served

This is what he deserved.
