poison
I want to live forever, but biology and toxicity in the world say otherwise
Mankind has come a long way in the 300,000 years of existence on Earth.
The average lifespan before modern medicine used to be 20 to 35 years,
Now we are looking at reaching well into the 80s and 90s. Some are peaking at over 100 years of age.
This is all because we have discovered vaccines and studied the human body over centuries,
But is it possible to defeat morality?
Probably not in our lifetime; there are too many poisons and dangers in play.
From the foods we eat: pumped with chemicals to allow foods to travel farther and last longer.
We have come to a place where it's more convenient to buy food instead of grow- order instead of make.
Drugs and alcohol are easily accessible; with the rising human population, we have more dangers of house fires and car accidents.
With the rise of being overworked, we have increased heart attacks, strokes and mental health crises; Not saying these weren't issues before, but it sure has a big role to play with the changing of the world.
Will humans ever live past the age of 122?
