Dreams

By Jessica BaconPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

Close your eyes to enter

your conscious mind

It's easy to reach the thoughts

that are already bind

The focuses that are

concentrated on physical emotions

That lead us and guide us

through life's turbulent motions

If you go deeper into your mind

And enter at complete rest

An unlocked entry will show you

The imaginative best

Jumbled and confusing

but unambiguous to the brain

It's sorting and arranging pictures

preventing the body from going insane.

It is at rest these glorious,

mismatched adventures are shown,

sometimes with defeat and attack,

releasing what physicality doesn't condone.

It is fed and released

sometimes to wake up with a fright

But dreams are a thing of healing,

happening peacefully at night.
