The Heart of a Broken One by Ayana Nealous

By Ayana NealousPublished 9 years ago 1 min read
The heart of a broken one.

The pain the rage

I cleansed with sage

I’m still enraged, trapped in a cage

I flipped the page, My words outraged

You can feel my aches, cries in the rain

No love is gained, the hurt is stained In my mind, still haven’t healed with any time

I’ve done no crime, his love is like sour lime

I pantomime, I grip, I climb, I gasp, I fuss, our love is dust, there was no trust, simply just lust, so I readjust, I was combust ...
