As I sit here alone in my room, I think of the things that I should do.
The things I'm scared of, the things I love.
If I do good, or if I do bad will any one see, will they be sad?
If I do good and stay on this earth, will it just feel like a curse?
If I leave and fly away, will they care? Or want me to stay?
I do no good, just bad things, I’ll listen to my heart, like I should.
I’ll live to see another day, and forget the past of yesterday.
Ill step off the chair, put down the pills, clean off the knife and look at bills.
I'll pay off my house, and feed my kids.
I'll fight through the day, I'll make it through.
To wake up to smiles of little faces.
To get hugs and kisses, fast walking paces.
They leave me here, again.
alone.
With no goodbye, no “I’ll be home.”
Alone again, sitting in silence.
No one will be back, they won't even notice.
I'll pull out the pills, I'll stand on the chair.
When they buried me, my baby put down her bear.
There to watch me, to keep me safe.
I’m happy now, no stress, no tears.
Just watching my family, while I'm alone, and stuck here.
