Perchance I am still the last dinosaur
On the surface of your bedroom's ceiling
Enveloped in mystery evermore
Meandering with this ancient feeling.
O Cosmos, we were the greatest creatures
Surviving for some millions of years
Affecting all the escaping screechers
Ushering an age before the death spears.
Remember us beyond our bone arrays
Underground and within past-saving caves!
Surprised to find us, you appear always
Reminiscent of your past and next graves.
Entertainment is all we have become
X-rayed to discover one more new crumb.

I especially loved the past-saving caves. Fantastic Acrostic!
wooooowwww ... technical artistry meets thought-provoking concept, with a touch of melancholy. So well done!
Love the Poe theme...Fantastic!
I enjoyed this acrostic! I tried to make one work for this challenge but couldn't find the vibe. So glad I didn't because it would not have held up to this one! Best of luck with the challenge!!
