I walked into the woods

And I saw something scary

It was in the woods on Elstun Road

In the woods

I saw the ghost

of a fifteen point buck

Staring right at me

It made a strange noise

such as a mating call like they do

I immediately felt compassion

It was trying to get a nut

And then it was shot to death

I know how it feels

You know the urge

I immediately felt compassion

I felt that bucks pain

I was traumatized

I felt sad

I was like

why?

They killed it dressed it and ate it

But I saw his spirit

while it's head had been stuffed

and mounted on the wall like a trophy

I am a very beautiful mother of mixed daughters with expensive taste. I hope and pray to my Abba father that my wishful thinking and my ability to dream huge truly pays off. So be it. Amen.
