Poem about Comfort

Comfort Poem

By Cameron GlennPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

Chaos

Cracks glass making sharp shards

Threatening, pain, death, stress, screams, worry

Distorting images from what they seem

To be comforted through comfort is a blessing

Hiding, cozy, safe, away

From the mad crazy out there

The gale force winds so terrible

You can’t even smile or breath at in while in it

Comfort is safety, reassurance, assurance

Protection

From dangers, storms, ruins, misery

Take chances sure

Still to be happy

A warm breeze, a thunderstorm, the engine hum, from a safe ride home, a campfire and learning about stars, knowing about the temperature on mars, being happy to be warm instead, to feel alive and dead, to want adventure but nothing of dread, to keep your sanity, keep your head, decorate for the seasons, wear warm cloths, the soft tissue blowing, after the sneeze from the nose, the friends and family and warm apple pie, to feels safe and alive and like you may never die, to feel content and happy without having to really try; all these are nice comforts.
